On October 9, media star Toke Makinwa explained online why, at the age of 37, she still fears her mother.

This was communicated by Toke in a tweet she put out. She stated that because her mother is so strict, she fears unexpected visits because they typically do not go well.

Toke added that whenever her mother visits, she always spritzes her home with fragrance to ensure that her mother does not detect any “pot” smoke that her friends may have smoked, as she would be dead if her mother detects the odour.
