Speaking when he hosted the Ekiti state, governor, Abiodun Oyebanji at his office in Abuja on Tuesday, Akpabio said Nigeria would not have survived the next few years if the subsidy was still in place.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his inaugural speech on May 29, 2023 said that subsidy on petrol was no longer in place.
