The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of the 2023 May/June of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates. The release of the results was announced by the Head of Nigeria Office (HNO), Patrick Areghan at the headquarters of the examination body in Lagos.Npower Recruitment

According to him, there is improvement in pass rate by candidates as a total of 1,361,608 candidates, representing 84.38 per cent, obtained credit and above in a minimum of five subjects with or without English Language or Mathematics while 1,287,920 candidates, representing 79.81 per cent of the total candidates, obtained credits and above in a minimum of five subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

The portal for checking the result has been made accessible, therefore, Candidates who sat the examination and who have fulfilled their financial obligations to the Council can access their results on the Council’s results website by following the steps given below

• Log on to https://www.waecdirect.org/
• Enter Examination number
• Select Examination year as 2023
• Select Examination type as SCHOOL CANDIDATES RESULT
• Enter your PIN and serial number
• Then click on submit to view your results
