Peter Okoye, commonly known as Mr. P, a popular singer, asserts that some people are urging Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi to withdraw from the 2023 race.
The twin brother of Paul Okoye stated that the callers were aware that Obi posed a threat.

Stating further, he said the cabals and “beneficiaries of corruption” were against change, saying their ethnicity was not even the reason, but that they were afraid of the unity of the youths towards the 2023 elections.NYSC portal
The musician said the recent political waves were not even about Obi, adding that “corrupt politicians” had failed millions of Nigerians.
