Why I issued executive orders – Adeleke

The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has explained why he issued six executive orders during his first week in office.Information Guide Nigeria

Speaking at a thanksgiving service at Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim, Oke Gada, Ede, on Sunday, Adeleke recounted the tribulations he endured en route to the governorship, highlighting the intrigues and the determined campaign of slander from within and beyond the party.

Adeleke added that the directives were intended to eliminate illegalities and “clean up the mess” he inherited, according to a statement issued by his spokesman, Olawale Rasheed.

Quoting Adeleke, the statement further read in parts, “We passed through tough days before we reached here. I can’t but constantly praise God, my brother, my sister, my political associates, my friends and the great people of Osun state.NYSC portal
