Yuletide: NSCDC deploys 4,000 personnel in FCT

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Capital Territory Command, has taken proactive measures to bolster security in the state.

Comfort Okomanyi, the spokesperson for the command, announced in a statement on Wednesday that a total of 4,000 personnel have been deployed to ensure a peaceful environment during the festive season.JAMB Result

The deployment, initiated by the NSCDC Commandant in the state, Olusola Odumosu, is part of a comprehensive security strategy designed to maintain order and safety across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Odumosu has released a robust operational order that covers the entirety of the FCT, and this plan is currently being fully implemented.

“The mission of this operation is to provide robust security for visitors, and residents and the protection of Critical National Assets and public utilities in the FCT,” Odumosu explained.
