Individuals who are interested in pursuing a degree at the University of Zurich in Switzerland can apply for fully financed scholarships to do so. infoguidenigeria

To encourage and support exceptional students from around the world to pursue doctoral degrees in economics at the Zurich Graduate School of Economics, which is administered by the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich, the UBS Center Scholarship awards full tuition waivers to a select group of students each year.

Value of Scholarship: The UBS Center Scholarships are full scholarships, covering living expenses and all fees. Nothing will change for you, except that the UBS Center will also pay your tuition fees. Scholarship holders are free to choose their supervisor and have no mandatory duties beyond their doctorate. The teaching load is 50% of the load of other (regular) students. Each scholarship holder will receive CHF 5,000 of research funds.

Duration of Scholarship: Scholarships are offered to award holders for a period of four years, subject to the satisfactory completion of course work.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must be International students
• Applicants must have completed their bachelor’s degree
• Applicants must be proficient in English Language

How to Apply: Applicants need to apply for admission to the Zurich Graduate School of Economics where they indicate that they are applying for a UBS Center Scholarship.
