Elon Musk, the sole director of Twitter, has announced a slash of the Twitter verification fee from $20 per month to $8 per month. Daily Post reports.

Musk rolled out the benefits of owning a paid verified handle as a priority in replies, mentions and searches, which he said will help defeat scams.
He wrote, “Twitter’s current lords & peasants system for who has or doesn’t have a blue checkmark is bullshit. Power to the people! Blue for $8/month.
