Jack Dorsey, the founder of Twitter, has stated that he would release a new social networking application named BlueSky Social.Information Guide Nigeria
Dorsey co-founded Twitter seventeen years ago and briefly served as its CEO before returning to the position from 2015 to 2021, when he resigned.
This occurs less than a week after billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk acquired Twitter in a N19.2trn $44 billion drawn-out deal.

Bluesky social, a blockchain firm founded by Dorsey, has stated that it is now recruiting people for beta testing.
According to corporate representatives, approximately 30,000 individuals signed up within two days after the announcement.
BlueSky asserts that its programme would enable users to navigate between multiple social platforms using a single, high-quality browser.
This will allow users to manage what they view and the amount of data they share with social platforms (algorithmic choice).
According to sources, the corporation may be utilising web3 to reach this level of network performance.

Prior to months ago, leaked private text messages between Jack Dorsey and Elon Musk revealed that Dorsey told Elon Musk that a new platform is required, but it cannot be a firm, and that Twitter should have an open-sourced protocol similar to that of encrypted messaging platforms like Signal.
