Have you ever wondered why it is seemingly impossible to download from YouTube and how to go around it? Well, if you have you are not alone.
At some point when I was really interested in technology and how to manipulate things on the internet, this was one pressing issue I could not decipher until I came across a solution.
Amazingly, not everyone knows about this, although it has become widespread. Most people still do the ritual of streaming their favourite videos online and saying goodbye to it thereafter. If you are still in this category, it is time to say no more and possess your possession. Amen? Now let’s get to it.
There are four ways to do this, and they are all powered by SaveFrom.net
Option 1: Download directly from YouTube page
To do this, you will have to install the SaveFrom Helper (an extension). You can download this extension on their website: SaveFrom.net
When you have successfully done this, go to any video you’ll like to download and the download icon will be waiting for you to click it.
After clicking choose a format that suits your screen resolution.
Option two: Edit the page information
This one is very easy and straight to the point. Simply go to the video of your choice and edit the page info. Replace everything before YouTube with SS.
For example:
Original URL: http://youtube.com/watch?v=YOcmSsBfafg
URL for downloading: http://ssyoutube.com/watch?v=YOcmSsBfafg
Or ssyoutube.com/watch?v=YOcmSsBfafg
Tap enter and it will take you to the download page where you can choose the file format that suits your device.
Option 3: Add sfrom.net/or savefrom.net/ to URL
While surfing a website with videos you’ll like to download, edit the page info by introducing either sfrom.net/or savefrom.net/ at the beginning.
For example:
sfrom.net/http://www.example.com/
A list with the download links of all the videos will be shown on the next page.
Does not work on YouTube.
Option 4: Paste page link directly on SaveFrom.net
Simply copy the link where the video you intend to download is and paste it in the field at the top of the page on SaveFrom. Press ENTER and the download link will come up.
You see, it is very possible to download from YouTube. Now you can download your favourite videos and even share this info with your friends.
