Airport Mangled Corpse: Police Commence Probing

The Airport Police Command on Friday said it had started probing into the death of a man whose body was found on Runway 18R at the wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos. THE GUARDIAN reports.

“l can confirm that a mangled, unidentified body was found at the International Airport runway on Thursday which was probably hit by taxing aircraft.

“We are still investigating the case of the dead body and once we are through we will communicate to you our findings.

“The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria and the Nigeria Police Force yesterday evacuated the corpse from the runway,” he said. jamb results

NAN reports that MMIA was temporarily shut down on May 19 after the mangled body was found on Runway 18R of the airport.
