How to Apply For Nigeria Immigration Service

Nigeria Immigration Service was extracted from the Nigerian Police in 1958. One of the major concerns of Nigeria Immigration Service is to coordinate and checkmate the movement of both Nigerians and foreigners into and out of Nigeria thereby securing the country.

One of the major functions that most Nigerians know the Service for is the issuance of International Passport and visas which enable Nigerian nationals to leave and come back to the country.

These decisions were taken as a result of the ugly incident that happened on 15th March, 2014 where over 20 casualties were recorded due to poor test coordination, overcrowding and stampede. I believe that this piece has fully explained the processes involved in applying for various positions in Nigeria Immigration Service. As a result, no applicant is expected to pay money for any scratch card as this used to be a normal practice before now. Note that the recruitment exercise involves some physical exercises like sprint to determine who is fit and who is not, therefore you should be prepared for all those. Also, it is a method employed to screen out the large number of applicants and streamline the figure to the actual number they need. Now that you’ve learnt how to apply for Nigeria Immigration Service, I advise you try it during their next recruitment exercise.
