Baba-Ahmed hails Shettima’s ‘improved dress sense’

Datti Baba-Ahmed, the Labour Party’s vice presidential candidate, has jokingly praised Senator Kashim Shettima of the ruling All Progressives Congress for his “better dress sense” at public gatherings.

On August 22, the APC vice presidential candidate, who was standing in for his principle, Bola Tinubu, was criticised for wearing an oversized suit and sneakers to the Nigeria Bar Association meeting in Lagos.

Although Shettima justified his position by claiming that he purposefully wore the sneakers to embarrass his opponents, his explanation was unable to keep social media critics from dragging him on the blue bird app.

However, at a conference in Abuja on Thursday, Baba-Ahmed, a running partner for Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, noted that Shettima’s appearance has recently improved.JAMB portal
