According to the report from mirror.co, Roy Keane did not have any sympathy for Rasmus Hojlund after he missed some great chances in Manchester United ’s win over Wigan. United booked a fourth-round tie in the FA Cup against Newport or Eastleigh with a comfortable 2-0 victory on Monday night. Diogo Dalot curled into the bottom corner to open the scoring before Bruno Fernandes netted a second-half penalty to make sure of the win.InformationGuideNigeria
Erik ten Hag’s side should have won by a bigger scoreline, but they failed to take their chances. Hojlund had a low shot saved, hit the bar with a close-range header and side-footed wide with the goal gaping from a rebound in the first half.InformationGuideNigeria

He has managed just one goal in 15 Premier League matches and has struggled for confidence in front of goal – something which earned sympathy from pundits Ian Wright and Roberto Martinez.InformationGuideNigeria
But speaking at half-time on ITV, former United captain Keane had a very different reaction. Addressing Martinez, he said: “You’re too kind, you’re too kind. I’d be fuming with him. I’d be fuming.JAMB Result
“We wanted United to show a different side of their game tonight, but they’ve brought their habits from the Premier League into tonight, in terms of missing chances and not being clinical. I wanted to see another United tonight. With the striker, he is missing chances. We can say ‘unlucky’ all day. They’re creating chances, just put it in the back of the net, stop messing about.”JAMB Result

Hojlund wasn’t the only player guilty of poor finishing, with Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Scott McTominay also missing good chances, while Wigan goalkeeper Sam Tickle made several good saves. United had 33 efforts on goal, with 14 shots on target altogether.
Unlike Keane, Ten Hag was not too worried by his side’s efforts in front of goal. Asked if United should have scored more, he replied: “Oh, definitely. In the first half I think we created five or six very good chances. I think it was very good football. We should have taken more, but if you don’t score you have to stay focused and I think we did that tonight.”NYSC Portal
Asked why they missed those chances, he said: “I don’t know. You can’t always say why you’ve missed chances. There were some good attacks and good chances, but we didn’t take them, but the way we created them was OK.”NYSC Portal
He added: ” The FA Cup is all about winning, it is knockout. You want to finish the job. That is what I said in the dressing room ‘job done’.”
