To be deployed for service, you must first apply online for the NYSC mobilization. If you have not registered for the NYSC mobilization, you will not be deployed to any state. How to Check Your NYSC State of Deployment

Your NYSC state of Deployment is contained in your NYSC Call-Up letter. So to check your NYSC state of deployment, you’ll need to print your NYSC Call-Up letter. See procedures on how to print the NYSC Call-Up letter below:How to Update NIN on Airtel

  1. Visit the NYSC official portal via https://portal.nysc.org.ng/.
  2. Click on the login icon to access your dashboard
  3. Enter your registered email address and password
  4. Click on “Print call up letter” on the portal
  5. You will be required to make payment for the procedure
  6. After making the payment, you’ll see the download or print icon, click on it.
  7. You can now view your NYSC state of deployment on the Call-Up letter.

How NYSC Posting Works

During the registration process for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) prospective corps members are allowed to select four (4) states from the six (6) Geo-political zones in the Federal Republic. However, you are not permitted to select your state of origin, or the state where the university you graduated from is located.Npower recruitment

Furthermore, you are expected to select one state from each Geo-political zones. However, you are not permitted to select from all 6 geopolitical, rather you are only permitted to pick 4 states. After making the selection, you will be deployed to one of the states randomly.

How to Choose Where to Serve in NYSC Program

During your NYSC online screening, you will be allowed to choose 4 states from the nation’s geo-political zone where one will be randomly selected for you. Follow the instructions below to be able to successfully choose your NYSC state:JAMB Result

  1. After you have been mobilized for the national service, you will be required to create your NYSC account on the NYSC portal.
  2. Visit the official NYSC portal via https://portal.nysc.gov.ng
  3. Create your NYSC account on the portal by clicking on “New Registration”
  4. After successful creation of your NYSC account, log in to the NYSC portal to select your 4 states for posting
  5. Your state of origin and the state of the tertiary institution you graduated from will not be included in the list of States for you to choose
  6. You will be allowed to choose one state from each of the following sections:
    • One (1) state from the North Central zone
    • One (1) state from either North East or North West zones
    • One (1) state from South East or South South zone
    • One (1) state from South West zone
  7. After making the selection, you will be deployed to one of the states you chose, randomly.
