Updating NIN on Airtel SIM cards can be done in three (3) ways; via USSD code, via the Airtel NIN portal, and via NIMC MobileID App. Check how to update your NIN via the USSD code below:How to Get NYSC Call-Up Letter

  1. Copy out your 11-digit NIN number
  2. Click on the call app on your mobile phone
  3. Dial *121*1# using your Airtel line
  4. After dialing the USSD code your NIN will be linked to the Airtel SIM card automatically.
  5. Congratulations! You have successfully Updated your NIN on your Airtel SIM card.

How to Update NIN on Airtel SIM Card via Airtel NIN portal

If you do not wish to update your NIN via USSD code, you can try updating it via the Airtel NIN portal. See steps on how to update NIN via the Airtel NIN portal:

  1. Go to the Airtel NIN portal via https://airtel.com.ng/NIN/
  2. Enter your 11-digit Airtel phone number

  4. An OTP code will be sent to your link for confirmation, enter the OTP code into the required space.
  5. Now enter your National Identification Number into the space provided
  6. Congratulations! You have successfully Updated your NIN on your Airtel SIM card.

How to Update NIN on Airtel SIM Card via NIMC MobileID App

If you wish to use the NIMC MobileID app approach to update your NIN on your Airtel SIM, follow the procedures below:

  1. Go to your phone’s play store and search for “NIMC MobileID App”
  2. Download and install the app on your phone
  3. Launch the NIMC MobileID App and enter your National Identification Number into the required space
  4. Enter your Airtel phone number
  5. Click on submit
  6. An OTP code will be sent to your Airtel SIM card

How to Check NIN Using Airtel SIM Card

  2. Dial *346#
  3. After dialing the code, several options will be displayed on your screen
