Don’t Give Anyone Money On Our Behalf, IPOB Cautions Public
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has cautioned that it has not authorized anyone to collect money from the public and thus, money should not be given to anybody on its behalf.
The group in a statement signed by its media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful said it is sounding the note of warning because of worrisome information coming to it that people are going around collecting money from politicians under the name of Eastern Security Network (ESN). “We encourage our people to report anyone masquerading as IPOB-ESN using any trick to collect money from people to any IPOB family. Anyone giving money to such criminals maybe ignorantly funding criminal activities against our land and people”, it warned.
“There’s no consultant, taskforce, middlemen nor group appointed by the Directorate of State of the Indigenous People Of Biafra for fund drive. Any time we decide to have other channels of raising funds for ESN Volunteers in their continuous effort to secure our land such information will always be put to the public domain and subsequently announced through Radio Biafra. jamb results
“At this moment, the only channel for any monetary support for ESN is through IPOB leadership (DOS). Those who genuinely want to support our Homeland Security should contact IPOB-DOS through the appreciate channels”, it added.
