ASUU: Stop delaying our children’s progress – Enugu Parents Tells FG
Concerned parents in Enugu state have called on the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to stop delaying students’ progress and end the ongoing prolonged strike.

She noted that the strike has held the progress of many undergraduates, including her two children who would have been graduating next year.
Also speaking with NAN, Mrs Joy Agwu, mother of an undergraduate at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, said that the incessant strikes had a negative effect on employment opportunities since age was considered important for job seekers.
THE GUARDIAN reports that Mrs Joy Agwu said, “The Federal Government and ASUU should as a matter of urgency call off the strike because a handful of varsity students are going about without direction’’.Jamb Result
Mr Chidi Ozor, a father of a 200-Level student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, said, “The situation is actually painful, but there is nothing we can do other than to be persuading and calling on government and ASUU to have a rethink and call off the strike for the betterment of our children and the society at large’’.
