
Enugu Governor Holds Emergency Security Meeting
The government of Enugu State on Tuesday held an emergency security meeting at Government House.
According to PEOPLES GAZETTE, the meeting was held to review the security situation in the state.

PEOPLES GAZETTE reports that tricycle and motorcycle riders associations in Igbo-Eze North and Igbo-Eze South council areas of Enugu State have instructed their members should desist from operating in the two council areas from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.Information Guide Nigeria
The directive was contained in a statement issued and signed by the chairman of the Enugu State Tricycle Association, Benjamin Ika, and other leaders from Igbo-Eze North and Igbo-Eze South council.
According to PEOPLES GAZETTE, the leaders requested security agencies in the state to enforce their resolutions.
The leaders also directed all Keke and Okada riders to withdraw their services in Aguibeje and Iyionu communities in Igbo-Eze North LGA with effect from June 7, 2022, till further notice.
