In fact, there are some economic operations or activities expected of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria to undertake within the commercial airports across the country, provided they are relevant to the Nigerian airports.

Therefore, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria was statutorily charged to carry out some important economic functions, which is considered relevant to the Nigerian airports.

The Authority can either do this by commissioning any of its agent or by itself, in fact, it can also partner with an individual or organization in carrying out these functions.
