How to Check the NYSC JAMB Matriculation List

Only graduates whose names appear on the JAMB Matriculation list will be eligible for the NYSC program. To check your name on the list, follow the procedures below:

  • Step 1: Go to the JAMB Matriculation list portal via https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckMatriculationList
  • Step 2: Select your JAMB examination year
  • Step 3: Enter your JAMB registration number into the required column
  • Step 4: Click on the “Fetch My details” icon below
  • Step 5: A message will pop up on your screen. You’ll see the message “Congratulations” if you’re eligible for the NYSC program
  • Step 6: If you receive the following messages “Kindly print JAMB admission letter” or “Kindly print JAMB result slip” or “Kindly print JAMB admission letter and result slip” or “ you are not given admission yet” then you are currently not eligible for the NYSC program. After confirming your name on the JAMB Matriculation list, the next step is to confirm your name on the NYSC senate list. Only prospective corps member whose name are found on list will be mobilized for the national service.Npower recruitment

What is the NYSC Senate list?

The NYSC Senate List also known as the NYSC Mobilization List is a list of graduates that have been approved by the Senate of Corps Producing Institutions (CPIs) to partake in the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps Program. Any prospective corps member whose name is not found on the Senate list will not be eligible to register for the NYSC program.JAMB form

Hence, all prospective corps members should endeavour to check their names on the NYSC senate list, and prospective corps members who cannot find their names on the list should proceed to their tertiary institution to lodge a complaint. However, if your name is on the list, then you can proceed to the NYSC portal to commence your registration.

Note: The NYSC Senate List contains only the names of Home-trained Nigerian graduates. Foreign-trained graduates do not need to check the senate list for deployment.JAMB Result

How to Check the NYSC Senate List Online

To check the NYSC senate list for all institutions, follow the procedures below:

  • Step 1: Visit the official NYSC portal via Https://portal.nysc.org.ng
  • Step 2: On the NYSC portal locate “Check Senate List or its equivalents” and click on the link
  • Step 3: Select your tertiary institution
  • Step 4: Enter your Matriculation number into the space provided
  • Step 5: Enter your correct Surname into the space provided
  • Step 6: Select your correct Date of Birth
  • Step 7: Click on the Search icon below
  • Step 8: Your NYSC Senate list status will be displayed on the screen.

Note: If the message “No Records Found” is displayed on the screen, then you need to visit your tertiary institution to find out why your name is not on the senate list.
