Ayuba, Susan Moses, Chigozie Anthony, Christopher Dauda, Joseph Tella, and Sunday Azi are on trial for six charges before Justice I. O. Harrison.

In July, they were indicted by the Lagos State Government on six counts of conspiracy, murder, attempted murder, and serious bodily injury.

The defendants are accused of committing the aforementioned offences at the NITEL Junction, Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State.

The Director of Public Prosecutions, Dr. Babajide Martins, stated during the arraignment that the defendants “illegally killed 37-year-old David Imoh by severely beating him and setting him on fire.”

The prosecutor also informed the court that the defendants attempted to murder pianists Philip Balogun and Frank Olatunji by beating them to a pulp.
Wednesday, upon resumption of the trial, the prosecutor called Balogun to the stand.
