How to Make NYSC Post you to Where you Want

If you wish to influence your NYSC posting, then you need to start right from the NYSC online registration. During the registration process, you will be asked to select 4 states of your choice to serve in. But before that, you will be asked to indicate the states you’ve visited in the past. Keep in mind that any state you pick, as a state you’ve visited will not be included on the list of states where you are to select your 4 states.

For instance, if you enter the following states; Abia, Anambara, and Lagos state, as states you’ve visited before, then in the list of states to select from, Abia, Anambara, and Lagos will not be available for you. This is because the NYSC program aims at sending corps members to other parts of Nigeria where they have never been, in bid to foster United among tribes in Nigeria. Therefore, when you’re asked to select the states you’ve visited before, make sure you pick states you never want them to post you to.
