Kaduna state to improve welfare of poor kids through digital ID

Ripples claims that the Nigerian state of Kaduna is collaborating with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to provide formal education to tens of thousands of children in the Almajiri system.

Commenting on the announcement, the deputy governor of the state, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, stated that their relationship with UNICEF will bring financial inclusion to children through a monetary relief program, as well as encourage the issuing of birth certificates and digital identification.NYSC portal
