Kano radio station condemns police assault on employee

Premier Radio, Kano, has denounced the barbaric attack on its employee, Muhammad Bello Dabai, who was performing his responsibilities in front of the radio station on Monday afternoon.

At around 3.30 p.m., Dabai’s attention was drawn to a fleeing thief being pursued by the public as he attempted to exit Nassarawa Hospital, where the police had taken him for treatment.Information Guide Nigeria

As members of the public pursued him and attacked him with stones, the thief collapsed in front of the station in Dabai’s presence, and the station’s police officer requested assistance from the Area Command.

According to Mukhtar Usman, the radio news manager, Dabai was busy filming the incident on video as a journalist for his news beat when the police officials arrived to re-arrest the offender.JAMB portal

The statement further read, “To his utmost surprise, without any provocation, one of the police officers confronted him to stop him, during which a fracas ensued.
