Parents of four-year-old rape victim demand justice

Monday, the parents of four-year-old Khadijah Adam, who was allegedly raped by her 49year-old neighbour Baba Idi, requested justice for their daughter, who reportedly died of a heart attack.Infomation Guide Nigeria

Muhammad Adam, father of the deceased, demanded justice in a conversation with reporters at his residence.

On Monday, September 26, 2022, Idi, a resident of Lungun Haliru Mai Ruwa, Gama Quarters, Nassarawa LGA, Kano, reportedly committed the offence.

“This is an act of inhumanity for a neighbor to have committed this act. All I need is justice,” Adam had said.

“I was not at home, that fateful day. Her mother while bathing Khadijah noticed blood dripping from her body, when she asked her what happened to her, she mentioned our neighbor, Idi, known as Baba Idi had raped her and she pleaded with her mother not tell anyone because the suspect said he will kill her with scissors if she does.”Jamb Result

The heartbroken father stated that he had yet to hear from police, adding that the silence was likely due to the holiday.

He added that he will contact the State Criminal Investigation Department, Bompai, to determine the subsequent course of action.

In a same vein, Jamila Adam, the mother of the late Khadija, urged security services and all other major relevant parties to ensure that justice triumphs.
