  18. During the course of work, provides education, guidance, and training to students, pharmacy interns, and perhaps trainees, and monitors performance.
  19. Establishes and maintains procedures and methods of storage and recordkeeping systems to ensure pharmaceutical safety.
  20. As needed, may gather patient histories, provide initial clinical assessments, and refer patients to appropriate clinicians.
  21. As needed by federal, state, and local standards, conducts routine quality control testing of equipment, the environment, and record keeping.
  22. Follows defined departmental rules, procedures, and objectives, as well as continuous quality improvement goals and standards for safety, environmental, and/or infection control.
