Part one of the special Double Launch weekend of Big Brother Naija Season 6 has just hit the airwaves and after a bit of a heart-stopping delay,_the event was the expected adrenaline-fuelled affair with plenty of revelations and contributions from notable musician Ladipoe. As we thought there may be, a lot of questions have been answered – but not all.

SHOCKING! 2 BBNaija S6 Fake Housemates Being Revealed

Most notably, we have NO IDEA who the women of the House will be, as tonight saw the host, Ebuka, introduce only the male Housemates – eleven, in total. The announcement of the female Housemates will have to wait for tomorrow and Part 2 of the weekend-long event.

We hope Part 2 will also satisfy some of our other curiosities like, “what tricks are up Biggie’s sleeve?” But there have been a few questions answered, most notably the identities of the first eleven of the Housemates.

Coming from a broad selection of Nigerian territories, the men have backgrounds ranging from modelling, filmmaking, entrepreneurship and teaching, with a variety of personalities that will be on display over the coming months.  For example, one of the Housemates admitted to once getting by on theft and robbery.  Okay, then.

Another big reveal, of course, was this season’s slogan – Shine Ya Eye. For non-Nigerian readers, this bit of local speak means to “stay alert”, “be watchful” and – basically – “be ready for anything”. Not that we’re Sherlock Holmes, or anything, but we reckon that means there are a few surprises up Big Brother’s sleeve.

For now, though, we’ll have to be content with knowing the identities of half of this season’s Housemates, and the knowledge that we’ll learn about the rest, tomorrow. Maybe, just maybe, we’ll get a few other big reveals, too.

If that’s the case, you better Shine Ya Eye.
