Unboxing

The Redmi Note 11 has what can only be described as rich retail packaging: the box itself is nothing fancy, just a standard two-piece case. It’s still made of sturdy cardboard and has all the protection inside.

And there are really a lot of them out there. Besides the phone body and the usual stuff like a Type-A to Type-C cable, a SIM ejector, and some brochures, Xiaomi also included his 33W charger. It saturates the Redmi Note 11’s advertised 33W charging support and is a nice addition to the retail package, as is the transparent TPU case. It feels sturdy and should hold up well. In addition, it can be installed immediately and there is no need to worry about accidents. The same goes for the included soft plastic screen protector. The Redmi Note 11’s display is covered with Gorilla Glass 3, but we still see the value of this extra protection.

Many sellers seem to be offering wired headphones for free with the Note 11 Pro.

Design

The design of the Redmi Note 11 is rather identifiable. For a while now, Xiaomi has used a segmented and accentuated camera island design for many of its phones, and it’s distinctive enough to stand out. That works in favor of the Redmi Note 11 as well. The Redmi Note 11S, which essentially has the same exterior, and the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, which are somewhat larger but otherwise almost identical in terms of design, are similar in this regard. The camera island’s circular patterns and subtle accents combine to create a unified and striking appearance.

While we generally like Xiaomi’s current design language, we have to admit that it has become almost impossible to distinguish many of the company’s new phones at first glance. It’s not a common problem for end users.

Redmi Note 11 has a sleek mix of square and rounded design elements, which seems to be the current trend as Samsung has done something similar with the Galaxy S22 series. You can’t call the Redmi Note 11 like an iPhone, as the sides and middle frame are almost flat to give this vibe. The plastic midframe gives the Graphite Gray device a matte finish that looks and feels very premium. Matte seems to be the standard for pearl white and star blue colors. Build quality and materials

The Redmi Note 11 manages to achieve a luxury aesthetic at its low price point, but it still has to be careful with the materials it chooses particularly metals. The absence of antenna lines indicates that it is primarily made of plastic, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. We’ve complimented plastic in the past for some of its qualities, and we’ll keep doing so because it’s a sturdy, relatively light material that doesn’t dent or shatter as easily as metal or glass. Therefore, we have no problem with the Redmi Note 11’s plastic frame. It has a superb feel and appearance, excellent structural integrity, and almost no flex.

Interestingly, despite its limited budget, Xiaomi managed to create a so-called “glass sandwich” with the Redmi Note 11, with both the front and back covered with glass. AG glass on the back with a soft satin finish and Gorilla Glass 3 on the front. Gorilla Glass 3 is far from the latest and greatest Corning has to offer, but it has excellent scratch resistance, perhaps better than some of the newer solutions, and decent shatter protection. Speaking of protection, Redmi Note 11 comes with an IP53 rating. This is just basic dust and splash resistance, but it’s nice to see in a device in its class. Romantic love message

Overall, the Redmi Note 11 feels very well made. Its chassis is dense at 179 grams, but not too heavy. It inspires confidence. It is highly rated in terms of both design and construction. Good morning my love messages

Controls and connectivity

The Redmi Note 11 is deserving of high accolades for its superior selection of connectivity and I/O. The majority of the time, its general control arrangement is conventional and excellent. On the right side, high enough on the frame to be accessible to the majority of users are the volume rocker and power button. Both buttons have a satisfying “click” and provide a lot of tactile feedback. The main “oddity” in this situation is that Xiaomi chose a capacitive fingerprint sensor in the power button over one that was placed under the display, despite the fact that the AMOLED display would have allowed for one.
