10 Solutions to IPOB’s Sit-at-Home Orders in the South-East, Nigeria

1. Rule of Law

Nigeria is a democratic country with laws. All as sundry should obey these laws.

The legislative arm of the government makes Nigerian laws. Nigerian constitution does not allow IPOB to make laws for Nigerians. Thus, declaring sit-at-home order for the South-East zone of Nigeria is an anomaly. It is barbaric. This is against the federal government and all Nigerians.

As such, one of the solutions to the sit-at-home orders of IPOB is for it to stop giving such orders. Laws that Nigerians should obey should come from the legislature.IPOB’s Sit-at-Home Order

2. Repatriation

Most of these orders come from those in foreign countries. After committing crimes here in Nigeria, they run to foreign countries to hide. These foreign countries should repatriate these Nigerians. Let them come back to Nigeria and follow others to sit at home.FUTO 2nd Batch JUPEB Admission List 2021/2022 is Out

Those who work day and night for their daily living cry that the country is hard. Many people in Nigeria now hardly feed twice a day. Talk less of those who are sitting at home doing nothing.

IPOB declares sit-at-home orders from foreign countries. This is for people living in Nigeria to suffer at home. This is not acceptable. They are only wicked to their people living in Nigeria.

Foreign countries should repatriate all IPOB members living in their countries. Such repatriation will make them feel how Nigerians feel. By the time, they feel the same pain that others feel; they will know what they are doing.

3. Prayers

The spiritual leaders in the South-East have the part they should play. The demons in the South-East need blood. They are the ones luring the killers to kill.OFFICIAL: Super Eagles Appoints New Coach

If IPOB does not stop their activities, they will lead to war. The war will make the demons see much blood to suck because many people will be killed.

The spiritual leaders can stop these demons by their prayers. Their prayers can also change the hearts of IPOB members whom the demons are influencing. This will bring peace to the South-East.Npower recruitment

4. Dialogue

A constructive dialogue between the South-East leaders, IPOB and the federal government can bring peace to the South-East of Nigeria. IPOB is provoked. Only dialogue can bring agreement between them and the person who has grieved them..dollar to naira rate

5. Parents Role

IPOB members are the children of parents. These parents have their role to play in the sit-at-home orders. They should call their children to order.

In Igbo culture, there are things that children should not do. Children should not dictate to their parents. IPOB telling their parents to sit at home is against Igbo culture.

Parents can make their children obey them. Parents are to punish their children who do not obey them. If IPOB members are not ready to obey their parents, their parents should punish them.

6. Negotiation

If the release of the IPOB leader is the cause of the sit-at-home orders, negotiation can solve the problem. There is no how IPOB can get their leader released by force. The federal government is not an individual. The federal government is higher than individual citizens in the country. It cannot succumb to individual pressure. Negotiation can make the federal government do what its citizens want.

7. Prohibition

Nigeria is a democratic country. As a democratic country, laws rule it. The South-East as a part of Nigeria is ruled by laws too. All citizens in Nigeria should be law-abiding.

One thing is clear. IPOB is a proscribed group. Whatever they are doing is illegal. The South-East legislature should make laws to stop IPOB from making their laws. IPOB does not have the power to declare holidays. Declaring a sit-at-home order is declaring compulsory holidays. This is illegal.

The legislature should prohibit IPOB from declaring further sit-at-home orders. Such prohibition should carry a stiff punishment. If IPOB continues to declare their sit-at-home orders, they should face the full wrath of the law.

8. Security Agents

People obey the sit-at-home orders because IPOB forces them. IPOB has arms that the people do not have.

When the federal army declared operation python dance, no IPOB member challenged them. Whenever IPOB declares a sit-at-home order, operation python dance should resume.

One thing is very clear. Only the federal army can withstand IPOB. The states police cannot. IPOB has more sophisticated weapons than the states police do.WAEC result

To meet the challenge of IPOB, the federal army should be better equipped. This will force IPOB to retreat.

People obey IPOB because they are afraid to die. Soldiers are well trained to face death. Thus, they are the only people who can withstand IPOB.

Remember how their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, was arrested. The federal army invaded the South-East because of IPOB’s nefarious activities.

Now that IPOB has resumed their nefarious activities, the federal army should also resume its invasion.

One thing that is clear here is that the federal army does not want war. They are taking their time not to be that they have caused a war. Even so, they are not going to the South-East for war. They are going there to maintain law and order now.

The army is needed because IPOB has weapons that surpass that of the states police. The stage that IPOB has reached now shows that only force can stop them.JAMB form

9. South-East Political Leaders

The South-East political leaders have their part to play about the sit-at-home orders of IPOB. The South-East political leaders are Nigerian leaders. They are not under IPOB. They should be loyal to the federal government. Thus, they should be ready to surrender anyone that is not law-abiding to the rule of law. Let the law take its course.

If IPOB is not ready to abide by the laws of the land, they should be arrested and prosecuted. This is the duty of the South-East political leaders.

If IPOB proves to be more than they are, they should cry to the federal government for help. Without such cry from them, the federal government will hesitate to intervene. If the federal government intervenes without their call for help, people will see the federal government as an intruder.

So, if the South-East political leaders team up and bring the federal government in, the federal government will be seen as a helper. Thus, the sit-at-home orders will stop.

10. South-East Traditional Leaders

The South-East traditional leaders are the elders of the land. Those who saw the civil war will never pray for another war.

IPOB members are too young to know what happened during the civil war. Many of them, if not all, were born after the war. They do not know what war looks like. Now, if IPOB does not stop its activities, the result will be another war.

The South-East traditional leaders should sit together to discuss the way forward. They are elders with wisdom. They can come up with a lasting solution.

The bottom line is that IPOB should become law-abiding citizens of this noble country. If they want their own country, let them use diplomacy. Let them go into history to know how other countries had their independence. They should shun violence and conflicts.JAMB Result
