iPhone 14 ‘SIM Not Supported’ Bug Being Investigated by Apple: Report
The launch of the iPhone 14 series was hindered by a number of bugs that affected users, including a Mailjack bug that locked users out of the Mail application and others that caused low volume during CarPlay phone calls placed on the iPhone 14 Pro, display flickering on some iPhone models with low brightness settings, and an error when editing Cinematic Mode videos shot on an iPhone in Final Cut Pro and iMovie for the Mac.
Since then, Apple has released software updates that appear to have resolved the reported concerns. Support for cellular data and SIM cards appears to have been affected by a new problem on the iPhone 14 series.

According to the document, the pop-up notification may cause the iPhone to become unresponsive.
According to reports, the corporation has stated that it is “investigating” the issue, stressing that it is not a hardware-related issue. As a precaution, the Cupertino-based corporation also encouraged consumers to maintain their iOS 16 software up-to-date. According to the article, the company also recommends iPhone 14 customers to wait a few minutes to see whether the message disappears.Infomation Guide Nigeria
Apple has reportedly cautioned users against attempting to restore the device if the notice does not disappear. Users must visit an Apple Store or an authorised service provider to file a request for technical support and have the issue repaired.

Apple had previously released updates to iOS 16.0.2 and iOS 16.0.3, which resolved issues such as a bug that caused a black screen while setting up the device and one that rendered the touchscreen on some iPhone X, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 models inoperable after being serviced. Additionally, Apple fixed bugs on iPhone 14 Pro models that caused it to shake and grind when recording videos on third-party apps such as TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat.
The newly released iOS 16.0.3 update also solved the Mailjack flaw that allowed any external user to lock users out of their own accounts with a simple email utilising a certain syntax in the ‘from’ field of the iCloud Mail app. In addition, it resolved an issue in which users complained that a flickering screen was produced by a low screen brightness setting. With the latest iOS 16.0.3 update, iPhone owners also received a patch for issues reported on CarPlay that caused low loudness during phone calls. The update also addressed user complaints over the inability of iMovie and Final Cut Pro on the iPhone and Mac, respectively, to recognise videos captured in Cinematic Mode.
The iPhone manufacturer is also expected to release iOS 16.1 later this month, which will reportedly improve the battery percentage indicator introduced on the iPhone’s status bar with iOS 16 via a redesign that will introduce a black area inside the battery icon indicating the battery percentage remaining on the device and a charging percentage indicator that will appear on the Dynamic Island when the charger is plugged in.Jamb Result
