Adamu lauded the leadership style of the local government’s stakeholders and hailed the state and national levels of the major opposition party for electing candidates who can bring the dividends of democracy to all corners of the country.

The defectors were welcomed into the PDP family by the Igalamela/Odolu Local Government PDP Chairman, Honourable Attai Salifu, and the party’s state assembly candidate, Honourable Zakito Umar, who stated that the ruling APC should be prepared to pack their bags in Kogi State and at the national level.

Salifu urged other wards and polling units in the local government to replicate what was occurring in Avurgo, adding that the PDP would win the presidential election of 2023.
