Edo govt, Ossiomo to extend electricity supply
In a renewed effort to address the difficulties of power supply and promote industrialization, the Edo State Government and Ossiomo Power Plant have finalised plans to expand the service of the power-producing firm to other sections of the state.
The project, which has ensured steady electricity to government establishments and public infrastructure in the Benin metropolis, will now be extended to ensure a steady power supply across all Edo communities, according to Dr. Uwa Igiehon, managing director of Ossiomo Power, who made this announcement on Friday.Information Guide Nigeria

Ogiehon, while reassuring on the expansion of the infrastructure to supply 24-hour power across the state, said, “We are not resting on our oars; we will provide more and extend, and particularly with the new law in Edo state, we are more empowered to achieve even more.
“There is a very definite plan by Governor Obaseki to extend the facility to other senatorial districts in the state and we certainly will do that, and whatever issues that come up, whether gas, generation, transmission or distribution, we have the capacity to tackle and solve them.”JAMB Result
