Aregbesola Blames Poor parenting For Increase In Social Crises
Rauf Aregbesola, the Minister of Interior, has attributed the surge in societal vices to parental issues and the improper upbringing of children. Peoplesgazette reports.
“What is obviously lacking is sufficient parental guardians. Let us address parental issues,” Mr Aregbesola was quoted as saying in a statement by his media aide Sola Fasure.

The minister noted that when pupils are properly brought up, it would go a long way in ridding the society of crime and criminality prevalent among youths in the country.
“Parents must be encouraged to properly groom their children, and grooming is not just about discipline, it goes beyond that. It involves correcting vices, malpractices, maladjustments, misbehaviours among others”. Information Guide Nigeria
