U.S. signals action against OPEC oil control after production cut
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies have been criticised by the U.S. government for deciding to cut the amount of oil they make by 2 million barrels per day in November.
In a statement released by the White House on Wednesday, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and National Economic Council Director Brian Deese said that President Joe Biden was “disappointed by the shortsighted decision by OPEC+ to cut production quotas while the global economy is still dealing with the negative effects of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.”Infomation Guide Nigeria

It showed that the U.S. government might do something about OPEC‘s control over oil prices around the world.
