The United Bank for Africa’s lifestyle and entertainment channel, REDTV, has stated that it will support the youth and creative industries.Information Guide Nigeria

Obinna Okerekeocha, Creative Director of REDTV, stated this recently during the first edition of the African International Horror Film Festival, which was held at the Alliance Francaise and Freedom Park in Lagos.

He reiterated that the channel would continue to empower young talents in the African filmmaking industry, particularly in the fields of production, scriptwriting, and film festivals.

He stated that REDTV was doing its part to support young and emerging filmmaking talent on the continent, especially as the future of film in Africa is changing.NYSC portal

“At the beginning of this year, we stated that part of our strategy is to support the film ecosystem in Africa, through empowering young and upcoming African filmmakers and we have done this through sponsoring various film festivals, including this African International Horror Film Festival”.JAMB portal
