Night browsing is a very common activity for most Nigerian youths. This is because most Telecommunication companies compete with themselves by providing amazing data volumes at an incredibly low price.
As per the time of writing this article The Grandmasters of Data, Globacom is currently topping the charts with their 1024MB at N100 for five nights (12 am – 5 am).
Undermining that mouth-watering deal not everyone likes to subscribe to that plan because the Glo network is notoriously known for its slow data connection. Leaving opportunities for the other telecommunication companies.
This is why 9mobile has also laid out its fantastic night plan. Although it’s slightly expensive when compared to its counterparts we can all attest to the blazing speed of its internet connection which makes up for its price.
Note that you do not need to migrate to any tariff to gain access to this data plan.
9mobile’s night plan is divided into categories which are:
- Night only (12 am – 5 am).
- Weekend plan (7 pm – 7 am).
9mobile Night Only Plan
As per the time of writing this article, 9mobile only has one night only plan which is 1GB at the price of N200. Though it’s not the cheapest out there considering the speed of the network I’d call a fair bargain.
This plan is suitable for low and mild data consumers who do not engage in large data consumption activities such as streaming long videos or operating data guzzling apps.
They are quite suitable for people who intend to perform research, chat online, or just basically surf the web.
This plan only lasts from 12 am – 5 am once it has exceeded that time frame your data will expire.
How To Access The 9mobile N200 For 1gb Data Plan
Accessing this plan is very easy. All you have to do is make sure you have the required amount to purchase the data in your account balance then just dial *229*3*11#. That’s just it.
9mobile Weekend Plans
Unlike the 9mobile night plan that lasts for only 5 hours in the morning (12 am – 5 am) the weekend plans for 12 hours from night till morning (7 pm – 7 am).
The weekend plans are also valid for 30 days as opposed to the “night only” plan that lasts for only that morning.
Another key difference between the daily and the weekend plans is that there is only one daily plan while there are two weekend plans which are:
- 2 GB at the price of N1,000.
- 5 GB at the price of N2,000.
2 Gb At The Price Of N1,000
As earlier said, this data plan is active only on weekends from 7 pm to 7 am and it’s valid for 30 days. Meaning you get to enjoy your data every weekend until 30 days runs out.
Keep in mind that the 30 days includes regular weekdays like Monday, Friday, etc. Not 30 weekends (15 Saturdays and Sundays).
This data plan is suitable for workers that usually have busy workdays or usually come from work late.
It is quite affordable and one shouldn’t be scared to try it out.
How To Access The 9mobile 2gb For N1,000.
Accessing the 9mobile 2GB at the price of N1,000 is very easy. All you have to do is make sure that you have the required amount in your account balance, then dial *229*3*12# and you’ll get yourself 2GB for N1,000.
5gb At The Price Of N2,000
This looks like an upgrade to the previously mentioned data plan. While it still ret1ains the exact features as the former, the latter seems to come with a larger volume and lower price.
Another exciting feature of this data plan is that it also comes with 100MB data for Whatsapp which is active 24/7.
This data bundle is also suitable for workers who only have leisure internet time during weekends. And if you are a data vacuum this data plan is for you.
The fact that these weekend data plans last for 30 days is what intrigues me the most.
How To Access The 9mobile 5gb For N2,000
To gain access to this data plan All you to do is to make sure you have the required amount in your account balance then dial*229*3*13#. Pretty bland right.
9mobile Free Night Calls
Apparently, night browsing isn’t the only candy 9mobile has to offer, it’s got night calls too.
But the requirements for night calls and night browsing are totally different. For starters, you have to buy a night plan before you can begin the night browsing whereas night calls are free.
Night browsing doesn’t require migrating to a certain tariff but night calls do.
As per the time of writing this article the only 9mobile tariff that offers free night calls is the “morecliq” tariff which was formerly known as eaycliq before the rebranding of Etisalat.
Alongside 15MB data, you can get free midnight calls from 12:30 am to 4:30 am when you recharge your account with N200 at once not N100+ N100.
Call rates on the morecliq tariff plan to any 9mobile line will be charged at 20 kobos/sec but when made to other networks you will be charged at 40 Kobo/sec.
Another benefit of the morecliq tariff is that when you use up to N25 daily, your cliq to cliq call rates would reduce to 15 kobo/sec, and to other 9mobile lines would reduce to 20 Kobo/sec and to every other network would be charged at 30 Kobo/sec.
So that’s pretty much it, I hope this article answered all your questions if not drop them in the comments section so that we can get them answered.
