A behavioral technician’s role is to provide mental health treatments to people who have behavioral issues. Behavior technicians uphold the highest level of care quality. They are in charge of enforcing learning programs such as self-help, communication, and play skills.

It is their responsibility to provide medical care training for parents so that caregivers or family members can support and teach skills during family activities. To be a successful technician, one must be good at written and verbal communication, be able to work with team members, and build solid interpersonal interaction skills.

Behavior technicians collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other health professionals to treat patients with a variety of behavioral problems. Responsibilities of a behavior technician

  • Collect and document information on patient behavior
