We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Scrum Master
Location: Abuja
Job Requirements
- Work with leadership to focus the team’s work effort, address risks/areas of concerns, provide feedback, and support the health of the team as a whole.
- Facilitate and maintain consistent and beneficial Agile Process methodologies within a software development team by conducting daily standups, sprint retrospective, sprint planning, grooming, sprint review ceremonies, etc.
- Work with Product Owners and Stakeholders to identify and clarify priority of project-related needs and priority.
- Help determine and maintain overall team velocity and capacity with regards to the team’s roadmap of projects and planning/prioritization
- Proactive escalation of issues of concern or risk related to deliverables, able to work with Stakeholders and Development Managers to address or mitigate such issues
- Able to work with multiple teams in a Scrum Master role and is focused on the successful processes and outcomes related to those teams
- Productive member of the Agile Practices team to help define, standardize and set consistent processes throughout the engineering organization
- Works with the Product Owner to ensure that the team’s backlog is well groomed and actionable.
- Able to coordinate cross-team efforts and deliveries through collaboration, coordination, and support of the activities of disparate teams supporting the overall successful delivery of product features
- Utilizes team feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and works with team to continuously improve Jamb Result

2.) Senior Elixir Developer

- 1+ years of experience with Elixir + Phoenix
- Experience with modular software design and functional programming
- Experience working with message queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS, PubSub
- Experience with Relational Database Design and Enterprise Data Architecture.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Prior Mentorship experience
- Deep understanding of Elixir
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Polyglot programmer, Erlang/Java/Kotlin is a plus. Jamb form
Skills:
- Ability to breakdown complex problems into smaller, easy to understand pieces
- Ability to work well independently and in an Agile team environment
- Backend development with an strong understanding of creating usable APIs
- Basic coding concepts (readable, clean, concise, reusable)
- Unit Test creation and implementation
- Debugging and bug fixes
- Version Control ( git ) and participation in a productive code review process.
- Functional programming.
Proficient in:
- Architecture and design principles
- Refactoring / re-architecture of legacy code
- Cross team and department collaboration
- Translating user stories and UX designs to workable solutions
- Informal leadership, training, and mentoring
- Understanding of OTP, concurrency, BEAM nodes, and clustering.
Familiar with:
- CI/CD Integration
- GraphQL

Requirements
- 5+ Years of experience
- Experience working on an Agile SCRUM team.
- Knowledgeable about best practices around creating logical test automation.
- Experience creating software in Python, Java, Swift, Kotlin, C#, JavaScript, Ruby or other programming language.
- Git Flow experience required.
- Experience writing test automation in Selenium.
