A terrible accident involving a Toyota Hilux carrying vigilantes and the governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri, en route to a campaign event in Mubi reportedly claimed the lives of four people.
The accident that occurred near Fadamareke in Hong Local Government, which was allegedly caused by excessive speed while negotiating a risky turn, included a RAMP 2 Toyota Hilux vehicle driven by a vigilante for the Head of Fintiri.Information Guide Nigeria
Three lifeless bodies of passengers, including Bako Kaura, head of the PDP’s informal security arm, and Adamu, Kaura’s biological son, have been placed at the morgue of Hong Federal Medical Centre.

Five more van passengers who had injuries of varying severity were transported to a medical institution in the government house ambulance and another unmarked Hilux vehicle. Dr. William Teri, the personal physician of Governor Fintiri and director of the government house clinic, was among the first responders to the collision and transported the injured to a hospital.NYSC portal
A source at the scene of the accident who helped with the evacuation and rescue effort, however, said “I took out three lifeless bodies, but there’s a fourth that I think can hardly make it out of coma because of the injury he sustained. The unfortunate death involving his convoy shocked Governor Fintiri, who also assisted in the coordination of rescue efforts.

The event occurred near the high-brow Dougirei Hilltop Agga Mosque, where the governor had gone to attend a wedding engagement.
Two officers were killed in the crash and were transferred to the state specialist hospital’s intensive care unit.
