The NYSC Relocation was created to aid corps member who due to one reason or the other wish to change their state of deployment. If initially you were sent to Borno state for service, and you find that living there isn’t safe, due to the rising number of insurgencies in that area, then you can apply for the NYSC relocation and change your NYSC state. Although, anyone can apply for the NYSC relocation, but not all will be approved by the NYSC board. In today’s post, I’ll be showing you how to check your NYSC relocation status online.

How to Check Your NYSC Relocation Status

To check if your NYSC relocation application has been approved, follow the procedures below:

  1. Go to the official NYSC portal at https://portal.nysc.org.ng
  2. Enter your registered email address and password into the required columns
  3. Click on “Login” to access your NYSC dashboard
  4. On the dashboard, scroll to “Relocation” and click on it
  5. After clicking on relocation, your relocation application will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Read through the application letter to check the application statusWAEC Result
  7. If your application is not yet approved, an indication will appear, showing your application as “Pending”
  8. However, if your relocation have been approved, you’ll see the message “Congratulations! Your application has been approved”Npower Recruitment
  9. You will be required to pay a sum of N1,000 to see where you have been relocated to.
  10. Once the payment is made, you will be able to print the NYSC relocation letter and check where NYSC has relocated you to.

How to Print the NYSC Relocation Letter

If your relocation application has been approved, you will need to print out the relocation letter to confirm where you have been relocated to. Follow the procedures below to print your NYSC relocation letter:

  1. Go to the official NYSC portal at https://portal.nysc.org.ng
  2. Enter your registered email address and password into the required columns
  3. Click on “Login” to access your NYSC dashboard
  4. On the dashboard, scroll to “Relocation” and click on itNYSC Relocation
  5. After clicking on relocation, your approved relocation application will be displayed on the screen
  6. Click on “pay and print your relocation letter” link on the dashboard
  7. Select your preferred payment option from the displayed options.
  8. A payment confirmation page will be displayed on the screen, click on “pay now”
  9. Confirm your details on the Remita portalJAMB Result
  10. Click on “Proceed to payment”
  11. Enter your debit card details to make payment
  12. Click on “pay NGN 1176”. The extra N176 is the commission charge.JAMB Form
  13. After making the payment, your relocation letter will be made available for printing and downloading.

Can I Apply For NYSC Relocation Twice?

Yes, you can apply for the NYSC relocation as many times as you want. There are laid out restrictions for the application of NYSC relocation. However, getting the application approved by NYSC is the big deal. Unless you have genuine reasons for your continuous relocation application, the NYSC board will not approve your request.
