About the Federal Road Safety (FRSC) Recruitment Exercise
The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) is a paramilitary agency owned by the federal government of Nigeria. It’s basic or primary function is to ensure a free-flowing traffic on all highways in Nigeria.
FRSC directs and controls all road users on the best way to utilize the highways in the country. The following are functions of the Federal Road Safety Commission in Nigeria:
- Making the highway roads safe for motorists and other road users in Nigeria.
- Recommending works and devices that can help eliminate or minimize accidents on the highways and informing the Government about localities where such works and devices are required
- Educating motorists and other road users on the importance of highway discipline.
- Preventing or minimizing road accidents in the country
- Clearing all obstructions on Nigerian highways;
- Designing and issuing of driver’s license to road users
- Designing and producing car number plates
- Researching the various causes of accidents and methods of preventing them

Applicants for this position must be holders of SSCE or its equivalent with English Language and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Applicants must obtain satisfactory grades in all subjects.
- Road Marshal Assistant III. Federal Road Safety Recruitment
Applicants for this position must have at least 3 credits in SSCE or its equivalent, and one of the credits must be in English Language.
- Artisans and Tradesmen.
This position is open for all Artisans and Tradesmen. Under this category, you can apply for a position as a Computer Operator, Driver, Mechanic, Electrician, Instrumentalist, Tailors, Plumbers, etc. To apply, you must possess a minimum of 4 passes in SSCE or its equivalent, and or professional certificates.
