1. Learn how to use Computer Keyboard in JAMB

During the JAMB UTME/DE examination, you will be required to use a computer keyboard to answer the questions. Hence you need to learn how to properly utilize a computer keyboard to answer questions in JAMB. Below is a list of keys and their functions during the JAMB examination:How to Cancel NYSC Registration

  • Key A: This key can be used to select option A in the JAMB exam. If the answer is option A, just tap on key A to select it.
  • Key B: This key can be used to select option B in the JAMB exam. Even if you have already selected an option before, and you realize the answer is option B, just tap on key B on the keyboard, and it would automatically change to option B.
  • Key C: This key can be used to select option C in the JAMB exam. Tap on key C to select option C.
  • Key D: This key can be used to select option D in the JAMB exam. Tap on key D to select option D.
  • Key N: This key symbolizes next question. Tapping on this key will take you to the next question. If you are done with a question, just tap on key N on the keyboard to move to the next question.
  • Key P: This key symbolizes previous question. Tapping on this key will take you back to the previous question. If maybe you skipped a question, you can use this key to check.
  • Key S: This key can be used to save/submit your work. You are required to tap on the S Key twice to save your work. Tapping on S key once, means submit.
  • Key R: This key symbolizes reverse. In a situation where you accidentally tap on the S key once, and you are yet to attempt all questions, simply tap on key R to go back to the question page and continue answering the questions.
  • Key Y: This key symbolizes YES. It is used to confirm your submission. Hence, once your tap on key Y, after pressing key S, your submission will be confirmed and cannot be returned. Ensure that you have attempted all questions and are satisfied with your answers before tapping on Key Y.JAMB form

2. Sit for the JAMB Mock Examination

The best way to get familiarized with the computer-based JAMB examination is to sit for the JAMB Mock exam. The JAMB Mock exam is set with the same standard as the JAMB UTME/DE examination.JAMB Result

Hence, it is advisable to sit for the JAMB Mock exam, so you can get a feel of how the main JAMB UTME/DE exam would be. It’s also a good practice for the instructions above. Use the guidelines in option 1 above when answering the questions so you’ll get used to it before the main JAMB exam.
