To register for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) you must first create a JAMB profile, and the JAMB profile can only be created using your National Identification Number (NIN). How to Link your NIN to JAMB via Text Message

The first step in JAMB registration is the creation of the JAMB profile code. To obtain the profile code, you’ll need to link your NIN to JAMB Portal. Follow the procedures below to link your NIN to JAMB:Npower recruitment

  1. Go to the messaging app on your mobile phone
  2. Type the message “NIN, then space, then your eleven (11) digit NIN number. For example; NIN 67128719072
  3. Now send the message to “55019
  4. A 10-digit number code will be sent to your mobile number. The code sent to you is your JAMB profile code.
  5. To complete your JAMB registration, take the profile code to the nearest JAMB approved CBT center
  6. Keep in mind that you will be required to purchase the JAMB E-pin to complete the registration process

Note: A service charge of N50 will be deducted for the procedure to be completed. Also, ensure that the phone number used to send the message is linked to your NIN.

OR,

  1. Go to the messaging app on your mobile phone

How to Link NIN to JAMB via USSD Code

If you do not wish to use the text message method to link your NIN to JAMB, you can make use of the USSD code. See steps on how to use USSD code to link your NIN to JAMB below:

  1. Go to your call/phone app on your mobile phone
  2. Enter the code *55019*1*NIN# and press send
  3. For example; Dial *55019*1*56237891123#
  4. A 10-digit code will be sent to your phone number. The 10-digit code is your JAMB profile code.JAMB form
  5. Now head to the nearest JAMB-approved center to complete your registration.

OR,

  1. Go to your call/phone app on your mobile phone
  2. Enter the code *66019*1*NIN# and press send
  3. For example; Dial *66019*1*56237891123#
  4. A 10-digit code will be sent to your phone number. The 10-digit code is your JAMB profile code.How to Get NYSC Rejection Letter
  5. Now head to the nearest JAMB-approved center to complete your registration.

Note: A service charge of N50 will be deducted from your airtime balance for the procedure to be completed. Also, make sure that the phone number you used to dial the code is linked to your NIN.

How to Check Your JAMB Profile Code

If you’ve already created your JAMB profile code, then you don’t need to create another one. Simply retrieve the profile code using your phone number linked to your NIN. See procedures below:

  1. Go to the messaging app on your mobile phone
  2. Enter the message “RESEND
  3. Send the message to either “55019” or “66019”JAMB Result
  4. After sending the message, your JAMB profile code will be sent to you once again.
