Dr Ramon Adedoyin, owner of Oduduwa University have been apprehended by the Osun State Police Command over the death of Timothy Adegoke, a master’s degree student of Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU.

It will be recalled that the deceased, Adegoke came from Abuja to write the examination at the OAU distance learning centre, Moro, Osun State on November 5. DAILY POST reports.

The police had arrested six suspects reportedly connected to the death of the OAU student.

In a statement presented by CP Olawale Olokode, the Commissioner of Police through the command’s spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola, on Wednesday, said Dr. Adedoyin was arrested on November 15.

Olokode also commended members of the public, especially the bereaved family, students, and management of OAU for their patience to allow the police continue on a thorough investigation on the matter, while reaffirming the commitment of the state police command to ensure justice is done. jamb results

He buttressed that no matter the person involved in the case or how highly or lowly placed in the society if found wanting would be brought to justice.

He assured that updates on the case will be made public as the event unfolds.
