1.) Agronomist Officer

Locations: Borno, Yobe and Adamawa

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Agriculture, Nutrition, Economics, Rural Development, Development Studies, Social Sciences or related academic disciplines, 2 – 3 years previous experience working in developmental and emergency projects.
  • Previous experience in food distribution supervisory field is preferable.
  • Ability to write reports.
  • Able to work outside of regular working hours as required, including evenings and weekends if required.
  • Experience with survey methodologies, nutrition assessment and relevant data analysis
  • Previous experience working with an INGO or a Development organization.
  • Experience designing and leading capacity building and training for national teams.

2.) Agronomist Assistant

Locations: Borno & Yobe

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree / HND in Agricultural, Economics, Rural Development, Development Studies or related academic disciplines, with previous experience working in developmental and emergency projects

3.) Nutrition Officer

Qualifications

  • BSc in Health, Nutrition, Nursing or related field with a minimum of two year relevant experience for BSc holder and three years related experience for Diploma holder.
  • Understanding of community management of acute malnutrition
  • Computer skills knowledge and applications especially Ms Word and Excel
  • Experience in planning and organizing activities in a variety of locations

7.) Human Resource / Administrative Officer

Required Qualifications and Experience
Education:

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Social Sciences or Business Administration or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience; or
  • University Degree in the above fields with five years of relevant professional experience;

Experience:

  • Working experience in management and administration in all facets of HR, Talent acquisition, talent management, administration of staff contracts and entitlements, procurement and logistic, interpretation and implementation of staff rules and regulations and development of HR guidelines in a complex humanitarian environment;
  • Previous working experience in an international organization is an advantage;
  • A high degree of computer literacy is required; good knowledge of MS Office suite and PRISM is essential.

8.) Roving Safety and Security Officer

Locations: Borno and Yobe

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor of Sciences (B.Sc), Higher National Diploma (HND) in Criminology, Intelligence and Security Studies, Cyber Security. Strategic and Social Science, Masters is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of security management experience is desired. At least 3 years of security management experience with an INGO.
  • Relevant work experience in policy analysis, influence, strategic planning, communications, research, media, data gathering and/or information management
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop and implement strategies with clear theories of change.

Writing Skill:

  • Excellent in editing and analytical skills and ability to formulate well-targeted strategic documents.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and often demanding environment.
  • Fluency in English required, with demonstrated writing skills, ability to speak Hausa or Kanuri and any other local languages (desired but not essential).
  • Computer literacy in using Microsoft Office and email/internet.
