EFCC Detains Former Edo Governor Over Claimed N1.6bn fraud
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has locked Mr Lucky Igbinedion, a one time governor of Edo State over claimed criminal mismanagement of N1.6 billion public funds. Information Guide Nigeria

Igbinedion was a governor of Edo State from 1999 and 2007 and is currently being detained at the EFCC’s headquarters in Jabi, Abuja. jamb results
The new investigation was based on fresh evidence against Mr Igbinedion.
According to Uwujaren, the ex-governor diverted a loan obtained by the Edo State government to finance investment to settle the financial indebtedness of a company he invested in.
