War: Japan Bans Russian Coal Imports

Japan has placed a total ban on Russian coal imports, as a result of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

DAILY POST reports that this was disclosed by Japanese Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida on Friday at a news conference in Tokyo.Information Guide Nigeria

Fumio Kishida also announced the expulsion of eight Russian diplomats.

According to him, Russia has committed unforgivable war crimes in Ukraine since the war between both neighbouring countries started in February this year.

As reported by DAILY POST, Fumio Kishida said, “Russia has repeatedly violated international humanitarian law by killing civilians and attacking nuclear power plants. These are unforgivable war crimes.”

According to DAILY POST, After India and China, Japan is the world’s third-largest importer of coal, while Russia accounts for 11 percent of Japan’s coal imports.
