Have you subscribed to any of the GOTV packages where you can watch Big Brother, but you still can’t find channel 29? Then the reason is that you are still using outdated software.

Regular updating your decoder software ensures optimal decoder performance. In addition to that, when you update your software, the decoder reboots after the update process. This rebooting process triggers an automatic scan for all the channels available to your subscription package—thus updating the channel list while restoring the channels you can’t find.

Alternatively, if your device software is up to date and you can’t still find channel 29 or you now have the channel, but it shows invalid after subscribing to any of the eligible packages. Then what you need to do is perform an automatic scan.JAMB Form

To perform an automatic scan on your GOTV decoder, follow the set of instructions outlined below:

  • Turn on your TV and decoder (if switched off) and wait for it to boot.
  • Once it has successfully booted and you can now watch some channels on your TV, press the Menu button on your remote control.
  • Scroll down to Advanced Options and press the OK button in your remote’s center. This will reveal a list of options.
  • From the options available, navigate to Installations and press the OK button on your remote to open it.
  • Finally, scroll down to Automatic Scan and press the OK button to scan foReadr all the channels on your GOTV subscription thoroughly.WAEC Result
