How Does NYSC Calculate Age?

The age limit for NYSC Mobilization is set at 30 years, however, the NYSC board has a specific pattern for the calculation of applicants age. The age calculation format of the National Youth Service Corps is based on the date of birth submitted to the JAMB. Hence, if your age on JAMB Portal is above 30 years, then you will not be mobilized for service. The calculation of age for the eligibility of the NYSC program starts from your date of birth to the date you graduated from your tertiary institution. If at the time of graduation, you are above 30 years, then you will not be deployed for service. How Can I Apply for the NYSC Exemption Letter?

  1. Go to the National Youth Service Corps State Secretariat in your current location

  3. The attendant will directed to the office where you issue will be addressed
  4. An application form for the NYSC exemption letter will be given to you
  5. Fill the form with your correct details and sign itWAEC Result

  9. After making the payment, your application will then be forwarded for verification
